Trophy potential is exceptional but NR quota is tiny. NR tag ~$599. 10–15+ year commitment for best units. Apply Mar 19–Apr 23 at wildlife.utah.gov.
Total NR cost when drawn: ~$1,518 (NR Shiras moose tag ~$1,518 once-in-a-lifetime). The $10 was the application fee only. Shiras moose with good trophy quality. Weighted system helps long-term applicants.
Henry Mountains and Antelope Island herds. Very few tags. Bucket list hunt. NR tag ~$2,250. Apply Mar 19–Apr 23 at wildlife.utah.gov. Verify current fees.
