Very low NR quota (6%). Long wait for quality units. Excellent elk quality worth the wait. NR fee ~$155 (license + app). NOTE: verify current 2026 fees at wildlife.state.nm.us.
Total NR cost: ~$375 (NR deer license ~$310 + $65 game hunting + habitat fees). The $15 was the application fee only. Trophy quality high. Very low NR quota makes this a long-term play.
